Nice run Mars. Most guys that run thier stockish C5 vettes get times like that. Thats great for a car that started out with <180rwhp!

That has always been my goal when I finally get my Rx8 to the track. I'm satisfied with my turbo build if I can run what I did in my stockish C5 (12.9s)

We definetly gotta get together this winter once I get through MMs que and get properly tuned. Our cars should match up well, would make for alot of fun!

Bingo--sub 13 sec car.

I was launching at @ 2000 rpms. I need to weight my car one of this days to figure out how much does it actually weights. I lot of OEM stuff has been removed except for all the interior OEM equipment (it is a fully loaded GT model). Sorry, but skinny tires up front are ghey and I don’t like to change tires/rims at the track anymore. I only spray enough meth to prevent detonation and I mixed 3 gallons of Sunoco 100 octane plus 1/3 of a quart of real lead substitute. Again, to prevent detonation given the weather conditions. Pull the AC and alternator belt? Are you crazy! This is humid/hot summer Floriduh. Based on one of those fancy drag racing weight/whp magical formulas the car is supposed to run 12.9 given perfect light, no wheel hop, cool weather and FM (******* magic).

No problem. Cooler temps do make a whole lot of difference.

Are you still running the stock clutch? Mine has held up well so far, but I've made a point of not launching hard on it or abusing it on shifts. I wonder how long it would last really beating on it at the track.

Yea I usually go in the late fall or early spring. OR ont he milder winter days. Cool but not cold.

Nothing worse than a car making power and cold slippery track I used to do alot of Runday Sundays at Bradenton and the first few runs int he mornings on a cold day were pointless....spinning out off the top of gears and such.

Do you think the tranny and rear end could handle it?
An 2009/10 tranny is in the work by year end. The rear is well braced and I don't think that my current whp/torque is enough to cause damage to it.

Its so true...... this one guy once called me an Rtard! So I gave up on life. If he hadnt done that I would have been more motivated and become an astronaut. Now when that huge asteroid is flying towards the earth I wont be there to fly the mission. You are all gonna die because someone crushed my self esteem.

I have to go cut myself now.

Nope, not a brain mouth thing. I just forget that as a professional in this industry I need to exercise myself in a manner which I'm not making threats, idle accusations or otherwise stirring up a hornets nest that was knocked down a long time ago.

I apologize for acting in this manner as I should have just left this issue alone.

WTF got everyone started? I don't remember anyone from BHR shitting on anyone. Old wounds? Who really give a ****. Let you animosity die and let the posters get back to talking about our accomplishments, troubles and desires.

Moon: If you have a problem with Jeff, start a thread with Jeff and let us all pop up some corn and watch.

My loyalties are with Pettit and BHR and I see no conflict. Jeff is an excellent tuner and I support him. Moon has always been a friend and I support him. None of this should cause me to not post in my own thread (this one was started by me).

Please take personal **** elsewhere. I would enjoy the banter if it had anything to do with the Pettit super charger.

End of rant.

I'll let you stew over whatever you want to stew over - isn't my problem and I don't really care.
But, it is important to note that Bill (or whoever was on his payroll) had a Florida local (Randall) purchase an AccessPORT from me with my tuning and then hacked the PTM file to use the tuning info in their own release.
Unfortunately (for them), they left my copyright information in the hex, so it was immediately discovered and Cobb propagated their action directly from there.

I didn't have to "pour gas" on anything - Bill's own carelessness caught him out.

I'll be on the east coast for a dyno day in three weeks. Look up the thread.

I've never made any comments with respect to your race, ethnicity or anything of the sort. You genes don't concern me, only your insipid, cretinous, mouth-breathing stupidity and the way it increases the noise in the room.

I apologize, just had a bad night. I just went to catch up on the discussions and had that page saved. It pissed me off seeing those posts as my first readings. I thought it was the middle of a **** storm and had to get my frustrations out. Ill delete it all.
