Angry Car doesn t go over 7000RPM

I am in a mess...

since some weeks my car when I turn it on do not work well.
first, it did not go over 6000, changed the sparks.. after a few runs, do not go over 7000RPM...
though it comes from the ignition coils...just received the AC Delco coils and still the same fu***ng probleme !

I still have the CEL light (lean in oxygen P0171)

my sensors are dead ?

as I moved the battery in the trunk, I often let the car with the battery turned off...could it be possible my PCM as to be reflash ?

I am starting to get depressed with this car

Compression test first; rule out the mechanical engine internals.

Did you change/disconnect the fuel injector wiring recently; are the injectors wired correctly?

Fuel pump; are you getting proper fuel pressure?

Coils; have you confirmed the firing order?
1) Green coil input wire is Leading plug front rotor (bottom-front spark plug)
2) White coil input wire is trailing plug front rotor (top-front spark plug)
3) Yellow coil input wire is Leading plug rear rotor (bottom-rear spark plug)
4) Blue coil input wire is trailing plug rear rotor (top-rear spark plug)

It's a start.

I just purchased a used hood. Going to modify it this week (venting holes) for future road racing events. Should help venting some of the heat away from the engine bay.

I can get some tomorrow, its flawless in its construction(like all AutoExe products) but its several pounds heavier than the stock hood, which is phenominially light.

you could always do what Fujita Engineering did. They took the outer profile and weather gasket off an Evo VIIIs hood and just cut a hole and installed it. They later inserted a stamped louvred plate underneath to reduce turbulance,

rain water while parked on the coil packs? Or, are those some little lips I see around the vents that channels the water away?
It does look aero funtioning, and look sweet but wouldnt you have to remove the post radiator blockage for the air flow to redirect?

Just got through with w/e at Road Atlanta with BMW/Audi clubs and it was a really great w/e.
Do I have some vids for yall. AND THE SOUND IS GOOD--lol. On a couple you can actually see my tach clearly, The sound is just a tad behind the video--not very much at all. It is a japanese camera?
I will post tonight---I think yall are really going to like these.
One thing---if you track this kit and you have w/m (which I hope you do) you will need bigger jets to keep the temps down. The 60 pre blower and 100 post will not do it when the ambient temps are 95. My air filter temps was 100F, my coolant was 195 and intake temps would shoot up to the high 150's. I had to go with a 60 pre blower but upped the post blower to the 175 Snow nozzle. That brought it down to the 130F, but per 30 minute session you will use almost a gallon of w/m.
My engine has to be CLEAN.
I did up my premix a bit to a little over 1oz/gallon when i found that i had to use that muchw/m--didnt want to wash any oil film away..
By the way alter awhile check valves need cleaning. SInce on many occasions i am pulling more than 20 on vaccuum, my 20psi check valve begin to leak--even with my system off and my tank in the trunk. Its just a little residue that buildsup on the valve--just spray some maf cleaner in it and use a plastic tube (like on the maf spray can) to work the valve back and forth. It will clean itself and once it does to will get a good seal that will hold.
STAY TUNED
By the way ---i will NEVER get on track without a synchro saver again. It made a world of difference---- in both up and downshifting----you will see.

Fiberglass, heavy duty too. This thing is solid, and it shows too, its about 3-4 lbs heavier than the oem hood.

The whole underside is a rain drain, you can see the outlet on the passenger side. And yes Im working on relocating many things(battery, coolant res, IC coolant res, pump, coils) and building a tunnel from the back of the rad to the vents,,,

Denny, I went with 100ml pre-blower and 100ml post blower during this Florida summer.

Ok Dude--cant wait to see the finished package.

I hear ya on the nozzles. I wanted to do it that way to start with but I ended up putting the bigger nozzle post blower. Seems like to me the SC wasnt really overheating and i wasnt sure how much w/m vapor could get through the intercooler.
I wonder what intake temp is considered to be in the "danger zone" for us? We have a conservative tune. Even during those short times I hit the upper 150's my car seemed to be running fine--no power reduction---nothing.
I also have to redo a nozzle site as i have started to get a very small vac leak from it.
It never stops.

Anyone--- MY EFI DUDE will not let me download? No vin number? I delted my file i had to rid myself of some old data so I good get some new on it and now it will not take it? Any ideas?

I like that style. I kept wondering if anyone was ever going to put the Evo design into the hood.
