It’s alive
Still on jack stands and a couple of more small items to address before I take it for a spin sometime next week. Ran the engine for 30 minutes, drained the oil, changed filter, refilled and next change after 1000 miles break in.
Note to self: Make sure the APV connector is plugged in or you will get codes P2004 (IMRC Stuck Open), P2009 Unk and P2016 Unk.
Enjoy the video

Yeh, tryed to load it on mine with win7 and its a no go. Im almost finished putting this settup together. Airbox is done, IC tank is at the welders. Oil metering lines need to be remaid for the relocation, no biggie. Car due for MD inspection around mid March, I hope its up and running buy next friday. Please god, no codes.

no man.
i swapped mafs, no difference. swapped exhausts and logged the same data but feels better? not sure what else to do?
i am waiting on new gatorback belts and a new bearing from rotr8 to work on the boost side. i also put the spring back in the bypass valve.

well that sucks Dondo--dont give up man,
Mine is down for a day--seems like I have a short in the seat warmer circuit and I used that circuit to run my intercooler pump.
Geez.
Moon---pics man--pics --you must have come a long way from the last set you posted?
Want to see that sweet baby!

Well, got in touch with DNA about the power mod management. They said they havent tried it on an 09 yet but it will work if the crank trigger is the same wich I think it is but gotta check it out to make sure.

Here is a link to VMWare.
PS: It looks awesome to run EFI-Dude or Hymee's Protune in a window of a Linux desktop...

HI all,
My stupid rotary engine still do not work WELL...I start to HATE this car.
better then before ... but still SO MUCH RICH condition ....
Someone told me to change the only thing I didn't change yet ( before I burn my car to touch insurance and buying an other car) : The vaccum lines....
Because It seems that a vaccum leak can cause an over rich condition...
I already unplug and replug the vaccum many times... but I am getting tired of this car.
so last but not the least modification : changing the vacuum lines for silicone hose.
my question after visiting JEGS website : wich size are the rx8 vacuum hose ? 3, 6 8, or 10mm ???
any other help is welcome.

Find a vac source like one of those nipples on the lower intake. If its steady -12 or lower your good. If the needle fluters even a little you have engine issues.

or just buy boost vacuum gauge and install! in your situation that may be a better thing to do?
JMK---I would be very fustrated too. Hate to say this but it sounds to me that what you really need is someone with the right tools and knowledge to do a full diagnostic workup for you? Otherwise it may be time to sell out and get something more suited to your needs?

The rule pump is a livebait well pump sold at Bass Pro for about $50. Puts out a lot more than the one that came with the kit. It probably will not last as long as the bosch one but it sure works better.
I mounted it in the space between the front radiator air intake area and the oil cooler. Ran the hoses through the plastic wall there and it is a clean
install.

Finally got the car on the road last night for a 20 miles test run. Everything sounds and looks good. Tomorrow taken it to work and to Pettit afterward for Cam's final check. Keeping it below 5k rpms.
That should put about 500 miles and planing to do the rest 500 by end of next week. I don't like driving like "Driving Miss Daisy".
Fuel gauge marks 60~63 psi. Love it!
