Pressure Sources

Just want to double check my diagram before I install...

I plan to tee into the vacuum line running from the VFAD port (just aft of the throttle body) to the interceptor (or the EMS of your choice) and run the added line to the profec brain inside the car. Then I'll tap one of the nipples on the intake manifold and run that line to the appropriate port on the solenoid. Then from the solenoid to the actuator.

Just struck me as odd that the profec requires two pressure sources, I suppose one to monitor and one to actuate the actuator if the controller looses power or malfunctions. Anyway, this seems like the best way..anyone had an issues with that?

Don't use the one on the intake manifold. Take MM's advice and tap the turbo outlet. The result is a much, much smoother and controllable ride - and added turbo longevity.

I considered that, I'll talk to my shop about it. Seems that that will restore the linerarity of the throttle pedal and eliminate the car being faster at half throttle around mid-range.

But if I did that then i'd need both pressure sources for the EBC to be 'pre-throttle body" right?

NM..i read MM's kick *** thread!

So both EBS pressure sources are pre TB, and only the EMS and gauge pressures are post TB. damn i can't wait!

Does anyone have pics in where exactly you are suppose to tap in the turbo outlet?
