Problems Getting Greddy Turbo

Problems Getting Greddy Turbo
Has anybody else been having problems waiting for delivery of a GReddy turbo?
I gave my shop $2500 advance payment at the end of January, and they claim its STILL not here and could be another 1-3 weeks in shipment. I'm wondering if anyone else has had to deal with a situation like this, or if my shop just took the money, spent it on other stuff, and forgot to order the kit, and they're just leading me along (at which point I guess I'll have to get the DA to go after them for False Pretenses and Larceny after Trust, and sue them civilly for Conversion).
Thanks a lot.

I ordered mine on 21 March from Mazdaparts.com, and it is due to arrive on Thursday. So, I'm not sure if your shop is on the level or not. However, the way I understand it, GReddy only makes about 30 of these at a time, and if your shop wasn't on the list to get one, it might take more time. I think the only reason that I got mine so fast is that someone backed out of an order they placed, and I slid into their spot. Good luck.

Alright, as long as I'm not getting screwed by my shop I don't mind - they have a good reputation which is why I went to them in the first place, but all this time I'm running around with 285s in the back and no turbo! Its frustrating.

They're the only ones in the region who've turboed an RX-8, they worked on my RX-7, and have the world's fastest 3000 GT VR-4.
The Dyno-man has an 800+ HP Trans Am, so I trust him.

I am in Fredericksburg, VA and me and my friend are doing the Greddy install on my rx8 (Sponsored by Greddy) and so far we have had no issues except the rain (garage is being finished) so I hope they aren't charging alot, if so give me a shout and we can do it for ya

yea the wait on these are crazy...Scudrunner is a lucky bastard :D I only wish I had taken that guy's place but no shop around here will install it...yet
when it comes aftermarket parts people have to understand...most of this stuff is custom built/built to order and takes time...it isn't like walmart.com or something :p

BTW the turbo looks a lot smaller than I expected it . . . . probably why the spool is so quick - since its a TD06 housing you could probably upgrade to a 20g or an FP3065 and get monster results.
