These are very common problems if you try to use the kit right out of the box. The stalling problem is likely related to your Bov setting being too soft. Your hesitation/bucking is likely due to improper tuning. What ECU flash are you on? If you are M or N, get it tuned and rewire your injectors according to the instructions on this site, or upgrade to the Interceptor. If you are on the R flash, buy the Interceptor, all of your problems will be gone.

To tune the EManage, you have to get the Greddy Support Tool software, and a competent mechanic can tune it for you.

The Interceptor is a seperate, upgraded fuel management unit (replacing the E Manage). Gives you better control but it costs $1500+ extra on top of the kit. Available from mazsport.

The stalling issues comes from your BOV. It is either set too hard or too soft. Adjust it, and you should be OK.

you need to get the emanage tuned.

also, in regards to your stalling... double check to make sure all the clamps are tightened.

I didn't have to re-wire my injectors, just tuned it when I had the EManage. Can richen/lean fuel with the Support Tool software. Varies by car. Can be too rich or too lean (usually too rich). Just lean it out a bit with the software and you should be good to go.

If you got the gas tank recall done, then you're on R. If not, then its hard to say.

No, just means the emanage probably won't work very well for you.

The Interceptor is an engine management system that replaces the Greddy emanage made by Mazport in Florida. It's a completely plug and play unit and it will solve all the problems you have listed including making a wack load more power with the driveability of a stock car. If you check our vendors forum, Mazsport should still have group buy going.

I've a thread going from my personal experience with the product hopefully to followed shortly with some videos!

Actually, I got on the list yesterday; your tread was the one that finally convinced me. So it’s your fault bastard (JK) that was my lasic surgery money.

You might want to consider MadDog's fix which makes the emanage work like it's supposed to. $1800 for the Interceptor vs. free. Hmmm.

Well, good thing you found the rx8club, or think about all that money you would have wasted.

From what I have read. It won’t work to good on my car. I have the R flash. All the people that have that flash keep reporting issues. I would rater wear contacts for a couple of more months than have to re invest money time and my temper. I have been lurking reading and reading, Mad dog and Mazdamaniac are incredibly talented and in a way I look up to them ( Not that I would want to date them or anything like that). They are the reason I decided to finally give in and get the Kit especially after the maniac figure out fix #2, I knew it was time., but I’m convinced it wont work for me. Except for fix #2 which I will do immediately. I really whish this thing was a little cheaper but the way I’m looking at it is pay a lot now or a hell of lot later. That’s a creepy avatar by the way………….I like it
