Cool Q about EMU map!

Im using the EMU as Engine Management on my kit. I have adjusted and tweaked most of the map I started with to fit my car and will be getting some dyno numbers for u guys soon. My question is regarding the "anti engine stall setting" map. I want to know if this is the map used to prevent the car from stalling when u take ur foot off the throttle with the greddy turbo kit(BOV after the MAF). Im asking because my kit has the BOV before the MAF making this map useless and causing nothing more than a momentary lean condition when I take my foot of the gas. I'm thinking of taking this MAP to cero but I first wanted to askt he EMU gurus what they thought.

Far as I know that setting isn't going to help.

My BOV causes the car to bog when shifting in the lower gears, which is why my BOV recirculates back.

Maybe it doesnt help that problem but I dont need it to, I dont have the bogging problem because my BOV is before the MAF and therefore doesnt cause anything when I get my foot off the gas. I just want to know if originaly that was the map's only purpose because if it is I will erase it completely because it is of no use in my setup. Thanks for the reply though!!

I just looked at the origional GReddy Turbo Map (TK_US_SE3P_RX8) and not only does it not have the anti engine stall map selected but if you select it and look at the values, they are all 0'd out.

1000,1050,1100,1150,1200,1250,1300,1350,1400,1450, 1500,1550,1600,1650,1700,1750
0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00

Therefore, I don't think you will have any problems zeroing out your anti engine stall map.

you are using the poorly modified emu map - not the unmodified emu map....

I was talking to Chris. He has the first map that I posted, which had random changes in it. I later was able to get an unmolested copy from GReddy and that is what I posted in the thread you just mentioned

It looks like people are still using the crappy map though for some reason.

Oh so GReddy never changed their map? I was under the impression they did. woops
