Race Gas 110 Octane
#3
Typically I don't just say "search" but this really is the proper time.
Some will vow on 87 or 89 because the fuel ignited "easier" Others say only premium because its "recommended" and necessary for the engine to run properly.
With stock/near stock tune I'm a believer of running lower octane as long as no Ping is present (I run 89 from Shell or 76). There is some lengthy discussion out there, search.
For the sake of saving your time, no, 110 Octane will technically not help your car in any way. Octane is essentially a measurement of resistant of ignition.

x2.
If you bump up the timing, and are boosted, then you will see good gains. On one engine(boosted mustang)we saw a 100hp gain on 118 octane race gas. The question is....is it worth $18/gallon for an extra 100hp?
I'd say the renesis will "easily" hit 450hp when boosted on race gas, but thats just a guess.
