i think its only 20-30% larger on the intake side, following RG's thread it seems the restriction is on the exhaust side

Intake ports are larger but we have two exhaust ports per rotor and that should provide enough exhaust flow you would think! I don't know?
Back to the topic, congrats SFR on your turbo kit and it's update.

heres my write up from the other thread:
It’s been a year since I purchased this PHENOMINAL turbo kit, and all I can say is WOW. I have had minimal problems with the system (little things that I can fix myself) and I think it was a great decision that I had purchased from these guys. Tim answers all my questions, and maintained a GREAT customer service. For a guy that doesn’t know squat about force induction. They are one of the first guys that came out with the right system without rushing integrity of the product. They conducted best R&D possible. Even if the rx8 community put them down in the middle of the project. They never let our vision down, in gaining that extra, added push that our great car really deserved. Hell we should’ve blamed mazda of all the accusation that the claimed about horsepower. Even if it took a while to get good a dyno sheet they always pulled through. I told them to take their time and they did. And they gave me back a 326 horsepower beast. So this is a PRAISE to the guys at speedforce racing. Thanks guys and keep up the good job. And Tim we’ll talk about that next step to getting that 500 horsepower that I want so bad.
With that that said remember what TIM told us before
"Go buy the greddy kit and when an RX-8 turbo blasts by you, you will know that is has an SPEEDFORCE RACING TURBO kit
