One of the reasons for asking the above is that most others would experience detonation issues before hitting your max HP. Wondering if you have meth/water injection, running octane booster or whether it comes down to better pressure ratios due to lower pressure hot side due to top mount setup with larger turbine housing, etc.

Hey JimmyBlack. Physically the current setup is pretty much the same as the first post with a few minor changes. I'll summarize with changes:

PTP exhaust manifold
Comp Turbo CT4-6062 with a .81 A/R hot side
PTP downpipes to Agency Power midpipe
TiAL 38mm WG open dump (welded the original PTP return closed) 10lb and 5lb springs installed, no BC
3.5" MAF housing
3.5" 90
3.5" section with 1" return for HKS SSQV IV BOV
Plumbed OMP vac line and breather lines into this section, originally I vented these to atmosphere but found OMP oil consumption dropped significantly, fortunately was premixing
3.5" to 4" 90 silicone coupler to compressor inlet
PTP FMIC
PTP piping to TB
Injectors were the main change, stock yellows in P1s (originally had reds), uncapped yellows in secondaries and P2s
Heat shield around OMP and replaced lines with SS braided Teflon
DEI titanium exhaust wrap
PTP lower rad hose with heat sleeve
Upper end of PTP rad hose replaced with SS mandrel bent pipe
Heat sleeve on other hoses and electrical harnesses
Relocated battery to trunk
Aluminum radiator, only because stock radiator nipple broke
ProSport AFR and Boost gauges
No W/M or octane booster, just pump 92 octane, not E-Free

That's pretty much it from the physical aspect. Rest was tuning, all done with Cobb AP and ATR. Let me know what else you might be interested in.

Thanks for the detail. Regardless of whether your dyno figures are optimistic or not, you're obviously doing a lot of things right for the engine to get this far. Congrats man

Here are some engine bay pics from this morning. It really looks 90% the same as I originally started out. Plumbed in the vac lines, swapped P1 injectors, re-did some heat shield, SS/Teflon OMP lines, SS lower rad hose section over downpipe...

FMIC = 600x300x75mm? (or if you're oldskool 24x12x3")?
How are the coolant temps in traffic? You retained A/C?

I like how you have the fire extinguisher on board. I guy here in New Zealand was running a setup with custom fuel lines and no extinguisher...Guess what happened next...

Hard to measure precisely now that it's mounted, without taking the bumper off, but minus the end tanks it's about 19x8.5x3.5 (oldskool ). The most questionable measurement is height due to the crash bar. I kept the A/C. I did swap to the MazMart 169* tstat earlier this year. Temps stay in the 180's, aside from pulling hills, but I live in the PacNW, so still cool so far.

Funny story about the fire extinguisher. I was working with injectors last year. One injector had a pinched o-ring. Started the car and fuel shot everywhere, including onto the exhaust manifold where it steamed and sizzled. So yeah

Got out for my first day of autocross today. I had so much fun, I was grinning ear to ear all day I made plenty of mistakes but had a ton of fun. Worst problem with the car was tire rub. I raised the rear 5mm and took care of that. I posted video and pics in my Google drive folder here:

Some people are having problems with the videos on Google docs. Try YouTube:

You might want to edit out the sitting in line time, takes up half of each video

Ya I may go back and do that. I had limited time this weekend and was more focused on getting them uploaded at the time.
