You don't have that much rubber/tire grip.

It's a race disc and while the puck material provides a lot of torque grip it also wears fast ...

275 NT01 provide decent grip. But slipping the clutch for burnouts is surely to blame some

I would suggest revving and dropping the clutch rather than sliding it ...

That is what I shoot for, more or less. But I don't always get it right when trying to slide. I beat it up pretty bad on a number of occasions doing donuts in empty parking lots. People probably thought I was donuts

Goodies! Also confirmed that ID1000's fit in the P1 position no problem.

Based on the dimensional diagrams, it appears that only the ID725 and ID1000 will fit in the P1 position. All the other current sizes have a shorter body with the harness connector closer to the spray end and a longer extension adapter on the rail end. This is what prevents them from fitting down inside the P1 center-iron position.

Agreed, and I am considering a pair of ID725 for P1. I was concerned about the depth even though there have been reports of these in use for P1 by a few people. I wasn't sure if perhaps they were using inserts of something to raise them or if they just fit. It was good peace of mind for me to just try myself

ID1000's installed and running! A couple new yellows for P1's for now. Copy and paste from ID spreadsheet for the latency table. Still dialing in the scale but pretty tight on trims right now and hitting my fuel targets. I wish they were easier to see with everything back together, I like the blue caps

EDIT: the latency was copy/paste then multiply by 1000.

Temps are warming up here. Not hot by any means, but definitely coming into spring. I've been noticing that my coolant temps seem to be erratic. On some cooler days my temps are higher and on some warmer days they are more in line with what I have come to expect as normal. I have been reading about remans having excessive coolant sealant and I am wondering if bits are started to clog up the rad or anything else. Might be time to dig into it...

maybe you should start with the more obvious, like whether the radiator fans are having issues, etc.

Maybe I should have started by saying I checked the fans They all come on at expected temps and below configured vehicle speed. Also fan shrouds all in place. Coolant is burped and full. Water pump pulley and belt are tight. Will be checking a few other things soon, pull the t-stat.

loose/bad connections, motors inconsistent when hot, etc. are all things to consider ...

the radiator is an easy thing to check, but it could be any number of things. Hoping you just have a vivid imagination rather than a problem, but wishing you the best at figuring it out quickly.

so on cool days you see spikes? do you see these while just cruising at a constant speed?

Thanks Team.

Fazda, ya while cruising on the highway on relatively cool days (50-60F) I have had instances where the temp just gradually keeps climbing up to as high as 195 and stick there for awhile. Then it will drop suddenly and be fine. I have the low temp t-stat. 195 is not high but it concerns me that it gets that high at speed with low ambient temps.

Maybe it is my vivid imagination and I'm worrying for no reason Just seems different from what I'm used to.

Both. Since I've noticed it on the Prosport I've been verifying with the AP. They are always within +/- a degree or two F of each other.

sounds like a sticking t-stat now that you posted some specifics

clogged radiator wouldn't suddenly drop temp, something is opening (t-stat), coming on (fans), etc. to cause that kind of response
