Finally got out to the strip tonight. First run ever I did 13.66. Second best was 13.831. I had a really hard time getting the street tires to hook up, lots of wheel spin. It was my first time ever so with some practice and better tires I think I can do better
Ya, helmet required for faster than 14 seconds. Faster than 13 requires a roll cage.
That's funny... sub13 sec. requires a cage.
Usually you have to be sub 9.99 for a cage... it's pricey for a cage.
You sure about that?
If so that's pretty strict!

LOL ya power and Internet finally came back on last night after being out for 7 days, almost to the hour. We got a generator last Thursday but trying to hotspot Internet off our phones when everyone else in the hood is doing at the same time was brutally slow!
Yes drag strip for sure! But they are closed for winter now. Just got our first snow yesterday actually. Strip opens back up in April I believe. My goal is to get into the 12's. High or low I don't care at this point, just sub-13 seconds. I have a few modifications in the works to help with that...
Ya! That would be sweet! I had a blast. I really enjoyed autocross as well, but that was a full day or weekend commitment where drag racing is a Friday night, come and go as you please...
