Spark Plug Choice with Turbo
I have heard horror story of using The NGK EIX range (BR 9-EIX) due to the fragile tip snap causing catastohic disaster
BR9-EV & BR9 EGV, BUR-9EQ is also an option ( NGK Brand BTW)
Apparently non resistor plug is good also ??
Any thought ?

Thanks very much Do you use the plugs in the leadding and the trailing or do you use a 7 in the leading .
Sorry another question , If you have the 7 L and 9 T can you safely use 15psi or do you need to run colder say 9L & 10Trailing

Where did you buy them?
I couldn't find any place out here so I sent an Email to Denso and they never replied back.
they list Autozone as a dealer, however they don't carry them and refuse to special order them!

The Densos are definitely pricey but are worth it. I checked at an Advanced auto parts before I bought mine and all they carry or could order I think were the NGK plugs. I have never heard of anyone on the forum using the B9 EGV.

I use the RE8A-L NGK's (1 heat range colder than stock) for the leading units. I tried the Densos for both the leading & trailing. Car ran a bit rougher than when I had the NGK units.

I had the Denso Iridium plugs at first. Then I switched back to stock. I don't think colder plugs are necessary unless you are trying to stop a known detonation issue caused by the plugs . I haven't had any detonation with the stock plugs so there they'll stay.

The real question here is how you're going to get 15psi. The GReddy turbo isn't going to get you there. If you have a larger turbo, you aren't going to be running 15psi, either. Not because you can't, but because the power output would be putting you into uncharted territory.
15psi is not realistic. Stop worrying about your plugs.

I have a GT35 style custom turbo that blowing 13psi NOW
My question was specific to plugs because I am using a Motor cycle style one( BR 10-EIX ) that has been said the tip will drop off .
I hear many story about plug so I ask question .

Supposedly the platinums have less debris due to a different manufacturing process that decreases the amount of energy required for the spark to jump... meh who knows if it really makes a difference....
