Stand Alone Computers
Hey yall. Does anyone know which computer is better. Interceptor X or Microtech on the rx8? I've heard so many good things bout them. so any suggestions?

The Interceptor started life as a Microtech but has been added to so it can work on the RX-8. A standard Microtech ecu will not work on an RX-8. It's more than just a wiring harness added to the unit.

Yah - the Int-X is a bit more than a MicroTech in a box, though it is mostly that.
The added bits are a requirement, though. Need to translate that odd ESS.
The software is the same, however.

This is not a stand alone but does everything you would want with less hassle than some of the alternatives .
Before I get flamed I should add ...... In my opinion

I got very close to buying a powermod for my custom FI conversion (GT30/40). In the end though I have gone with a Mazfix Australia developed ECU with more flexiblity and support.
