street ported exhaust ported motors who has them??

who has a street ported exhaust ported motor running stock ecu, doesnt have to be for performance purposes. most who get this done do it for reliability, after you dropped it in hows it running with the stock ecu, just straight answers, reason is might pic up a couple rx8s but since cobb is dead, dont really want to spend big bucks on more ecus, when i already have a tuned rx8 that can support crazy upgrades, next cars are for fun driving with all bolt ons, but wouldnt hurt to have a ported motor to help get couple extra ponys out of them, thanks john

No one does it for reliability and to take advantage of a street port, you need a tune, and even then it's pretty pointless.

Porting will get you nothing but more expenses.

There is more than enough headroom in the stock tune to run it without tuning it....but there really isn't much point. If you are going to bother doing it just get a Versatuner or MazdaEdit and do it properly 😊

So no one has came up with any realistic way to get more power out of porting?

short answer....no The long answer..... if anyone thinks they can squeeze more juice out of this lemon with either intake or exhaust they need to bang their head against the wall......... and then bang it 10 more times.

If you take the time to search and research all the documentation already provided on this forum then you’d know and understand why that is.
