Supercharged Rx8 Build

Supercharged Rx8 Build
Here I will be documenting the process of supercharging my rx8 with an Eaton m90 supercharger from what I think was a Pontiac Bonneville. This is an in-process
project so I will be slowly updating this thread. My end goal is going to be around 275 horsepower and hopefully a substantial gain to torque. The Supercharger is
currently disassembled being rebuilt while I fab up the Adapter plates and mounts, I so far have the m90 plenum adapter plate and m90 to rx8 TB and Plenum side
to rx8 intake modeled up. My next model will be the upper intake manifold to the the the supercharger itself. I will upload the DWG files when I get the opportunity.

good luck with it. the best s/c kits out there (pettit) still require a bit of work. the hymee "kit" never really went anywhere

I have done about a year of research preceding this I just rebuilt the engine and am starting fresh with this. I enjoy have a one of a kind system that I can be truly proud of designing and building. On another note, I just completed a flow sim on the plenum to the Intake pipe assembly, It is looking good.

The link provided is to all of the cad files I currently have and I will be adding more later.
I will put them in the folder in dwg and step formats.

Should be interesting -- at 18,000RPM the M90 should displace 162,000cu.in. of air. The Renesis theoretically can displace 72,000cu.in. of air at 9,000RPM in N/A form and perfect conditions -- gives a lot of headroom. I was looking at a smaller TVS, but mathematically the M90 is a good fit.
There is also a lot of meat that can be ported out of them to increase flow compared to as-cast -- reference Stegmeier Superchargers for some of their work on M112's, which can give you an idea of what can be opened on the M90.

Got the m90 rebuilt how would i run the pulley and how would the supercharger be mounted in the car? I downloaded the cad files and was thinking about 3d printing the parts and fabricating a “prototype” before welding it all up from stainless

Any updates?
I got bored and made the cad files out of 6160 aluminum hopefully will be getting an intercooler and a new engine/trans combo to rebuild for boost im thinking of porting a 4 port engine as that has the more reliable platform for this setup.
also whats the ecu setup looking like i was thinking of using a haltech 750 unit or something similar for the best tuning experience.
in your cad files theres a small hole on the side of the main pipe what would that be for? Maf sensor location?
havent seen you post on this forum in a LONG time but i hope everything is going well!
