Theoretical Forced Induction Buildup

So just out of pure curiosity I thought it might be a fun exercise to have some of our resident boosters put their minds to work on an imaginary project.

Given an RX-8 and the knowledge you now have, what would your FI build be and why?

I don't mean just turbo/supercharger, include related parts like drivetrain, fueling system, boost controller,

Restrictions:
- No off the shelf kits (though if you want to use parts from a kit, such as the greddy manifold, that would be alright)
- No imaginary parts (IE frictionless turbos with instant spooling)
- Try to keep the budget realistic (no jet engines)
- No engine swaps
- No compression changes
- Pump gas (91/93 octane)

I'm interested to see what everyone has to say. Some people like RotoRocks, MM (and I'm sure others that I'm forgetting) have built their own setups, some like me can only dream about it lacking the technical skills to do so .

Get as technical as you want, if you want to discuss vacuum hoses, oil metering pumps etc., toss it in.

Have at it rotorheads!

Here is my theoretical build. https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-major-horsepower-upgrades-93/tdiddys-turbo-thread-132043/
Well I guess it's not really theoretical if that is what you are actually doing...

My dream is wild. Custom tubular 321 stainless steel hand TIG-welded tubular manifold, forward placed (near the air pump, as it would be deleted) HKS T51R turbocharger, TiAL 60mm external wastegate with a dump pipe, 4" 321 SS downpipe, TiAL Sport 50mm BOV, custom air-to-air FMIC.

Fuel system would be a custom return style setup with a Walbro 255 lph in-tank pump, Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator, 550cc primaries, 650cc secondaries, and 1000cc P1 and P2's.

EMS would be a custom adapted MoTeC M88 with a custom harness. Ignition would be custom or I will use the upcoming Mazsport ignition mod (pending details). I would also build a custom 304SS hand TIG-welded tubular upper intake manifold (UIM).

I will dream a little longer...

Now thats a nice theoretical setup...
