if it were me,

AFR gauge in the defrost vent pod.
Boost gauge elsewhere near the steering column.

in the ashtray racing beat pod I would have - oil temp, oil pressure and water temp.

if you're serious you should have a standalone AFR gauge sitting at the most prominent point it can be, the vent defrost pod is a great spot for it.
we have a wideband already. I'm pretty sure it's not a narrowband....I've checked the accuracy with my AEM wideband and the accessport.

hell as I was even considering an AEM UEGO as an NA mod.

I find myself obsessing about my AFRs even now.. and I'm NA.. I do have plans of FI but just yet. That and the fact that the Mazsport Midpipe has a second bung for a wideband.. I may just do it and stick the gauge in the vent pod.

I think that was a stupid design for mazsport to put a second bung...being catless throws the CEL anyways...so that O2 sensor is useless. Could have just disconnected that O2 sensor and put a wideband in it's place. It kind of sucks for those who dont have an AFR gauge, they will have to plug up the second bung...otherwise massive exhaust leak.....

Doesnt the car use that o2 sensor for trims? Isn't it necessary to keep it there?

And as far as I know the second bung comes with the cap.. atleast mine did.

ok nevermind, there are 2 o2 sensors down there.. the first is that one I meant.. the second is to check CAT efficiency... still I would be hesitant to remove it.

right, the second is for checking the cat....a few people around here have removed it to put the wideband O2. mysql was one of them I believe.

it should jsut cause a CEL, which you'll have anyway being catless

I would....without the cat you can tune it leaner...since the pcm dumps fuel to save the cat...thus more power will be achieved

no, getting a midpipe on after you tune will just "free" up any horses that were being restricted before.

you might as well do it beforehand to *see* the higher numbers while on the dyno tuning.

ok so without i can tune leaner because the PCM will not need to dump fuel in open loop to save cat/warm cat....ok...well lets just work on the FI kit first haha then i'll worry about midpipes

ok so got an email back from this guy...turbo has all internal greddy components with an off brand housing because the shop he takes it too he got the whole car stolen and finally got it back had to go with someting cheaper...

Also SAYS there's only about 2300 miles on the kit(which is not much) however looks like there's about 23,000 on it!.

Downpipe is not custom will fit the stock midpipe...

However i still will not pay the high price he wants...way too high for being pieced together!

sorry if this was posted in the wrong spot, I'm not selling it and i figure its so rare that you wont be flooded with turbo for sale posts here. Mostly wondering about the turbo and downpipe "upgrade" done to it
