How come the drop in power at 7100?

Does the turbo run out of air?

Awesome job.
Please post the map. I'd like to use it as a baseline when I retune with my boost controller installed.

The curve flattens at 7000 so we decided not to push any higher after getting that part flat a few times...

245 on a Mustang Dyno! Bravo, man. Great job. Your "slow" RX-8 will definitely surprise the hell out of a lot of people.

Yea loads of torque at low end. Impressive. Like others said might have to change my mind about this kit.

When u put the power down it really kicks hard! from 3K to 6K is IMPRESSIVE. I do believe in those numbers, i can feel it. It keeps going hard but after 6K the torque magic is almost gone. It is incredible, will try to put on dynojet, I think I can get around 270 WHP.

Yeah.....

Wait a second....

How does your Torque and HP curves cross at 4800? They must cross at 5252.

I dont know why they cross early, but i feel the power really really early..
Before I would feel the car pulling around 5K, now it is around 3.5K

I disconnected the TCS all the way with 8 seconds push. Did not disconnect anything else.

The top end is strong, of course the torque drops so u dont have that much of a kick. Would not change it , car feels amazing.

I am using 07_07 map, we played with the mapping for like 3 hours until we got all points in 11.8, when we went to the street to try it out car was horrible.
Therefore we went to 07-07 stock.
I think there was some problem with the 02 sensor, because we had to add like 60% more fuel to get it down to 11.7 from 12.2. THerefore when we went to the street the car was way too rich, but in the dyno it showed to be perfect. Weird thing.

What kind of sensors were you using on the dyno and on the street?

was it a tailpipe sniffer on the dyno? Using an LM-1 on the street? CANScan?

It was a motec with a bung in the iron cast pipe right after the turbo. NO tail sniffer, that is very inaccurate

That is weird that you got 2 different O2 readings for the dyno vs street. The 07_07 is the map I posted. I'd like to see how much fuel was added to keep it happy at 8.2psi. Can you post it or email it to me... adrian-1@***-internet.com

Has the metallic sound gone away (detonation)? I doubt it was the WG, to far down to hear.

So you're using the original map for the street?

I am using the 07-07 stock like i got it from the forum. (Read my post earlier)

The mettalic rattle is still there sometimes. No matter if i go 8 psi, 7 psi , stock boost does not sound (maybe wg, maybe detonation?)
