which turbo is best for me?

I just got my 8. I want to turbo it to out out around 325 rwhp. First question, which turbo kit is the best? I have around 10,000 to spend on it. And what else would I need to upgrade or buy for that turbo?

Greddy kit won't get you to 325 whp so that makes it pretty easy. Wait for the PTP Turbo kit, or the current Speed Force Racing kit. Both will be around $7500 for the kit.

why do you want 325 rwhp?
Are you building a Boulevard Cruiser?
Dyno Queen?
Racer? Depending on the style of racing... more power does not always translate to faster times.

Like many people... sounds like your picking an arbritrary number without understanding what goes into it.
Personally i'd rather have 280-300 rwhp from a smaller turbo, that has less lag, and that sits lower (lower center of gravity)...
than a bigger turbo kit that puts out 325 rwhp, more lag, sits higher up, and is burning an oven in the center of my engine bay.

Just a few points to think about when choosing a turbo kit. $10k is a lot of money... spend it wisely

Oh, and in answer to your second question of what else is needed to go into a turbo kit, a lot of this depends on which kit you are buying.

Generically speaking to cover the Greddy, SFR, and PTP kits...
your going to need to also buy,
Gauges
Boost Controller
A better alarm system

Recommended upgrades could also include,
Gauge Pod
Oil Pan (stock pan does not have a return feed for the turbo)
Spark Plugs
Midpipe or Hi Flow Cat
Exhaust
Tuning Session
Wider tires (probably new wheels as well).

PTP and SFR's kits aren't out yet, so i can't say if you'll need to upgrade EMS as well.
With the greddy kit i would highly recommend it, but that is heavily debated. If you search around, you'll see what i mean.

I'm sure everyone here has different opinions on what "accesories" are needed or are not, and you'll probably hear from them soon.

Seriously I wouldn't be too bothered by which kit to go for but definitely get the Interceptor X and preferably tuned by Scott himself.
