Turbo Kit breaks the side seals

Turbo Kit breaks the side seals
I just called a respected tuner in the Midwest.
They told me a convincing story that turbos are bad for the RX8 because it blows the side seals (not the apex seals).
And that Greddy in fact discontinued their turbo, at least temporarily -- he wasn't sure if the Turbo is being sold again.
Comments?

No one has blown a side seal yet as a result of forced induction.
I'm getting really sick and tired of the term "respected" being used in conjunction with tuners who don't know what they are talking about. They don't get that respect from me so I respectfully disagree with the term.

apparently he's not an accredited National Renesis Tuner of America graduate
fwiw, any dipsh-t can call themself a tuner, and he might even be one on other makes or models, but apparently is talking out of his coffee can muffler on this one ....

The cool thing is that with a catless mid w/silencer and Borla cat-back it is as quiet as a stock system below 3,500 tooling around town. However, open it up and when it hits above that it sounds like a monster. I'll be trying a new sensor fooler in the next couple weeks for the CEL and as for smell.....what smell..........what smell.................what smell..........................
Now that my cat is gone, I don't hear any smell, Neither I can smell any noise.
It burns my eyes a bit at the intersections though
Seriously though. It sounds real cool when catless. Especially with a turbo instead of a muffler. Oh the noises she makes... Makes other cars scatter when I hit it. LOL
