Turbo maintenence and upkeep during winter months

hey guys just wondering if any of you guys had any tips for maintaining a turbo and keeping it in tip top shape during the winter months. besides not driving the car, anyway the car should be driven differently or any tweaks you should do to the turbo if your running your car during the winter months, jan feb, beginnin of march etc.. not only will this help me out but it will also help some other people who own a turbo'd 8.. because for some as well as my self this is my first turbo'd car.. id greatly appreciate it! =]

I'd say on it's own the turbo is nothing more than a piece of metal.
Just don't go revving the car while it is cold trying to get the turbo spool up. Start it up, and let it idle for a couple of minutes for the oil to gain its liquidity, Let the car get warmed up before start horsing around, and your turbo will be fine.
Just use common sense.

I didn't think the turbo would need any kind of tweeking... Cold weather is a turbo's best friend.

Like said before, keep an eye on your afr's, because we all know cold air is thicker than warm air, so during winter you will probably be running a little leaner.

i'm sure his computer has an air temp correction map.

unless the map is zero'd out, the only result from colder air is a denser charge and more power.
