I moved the assembly to the filtered side of the assembly.

And I setup the adjustable portion so that it could be accessed easily but once it is set then I should not have to mess with it again.

Is that a remote oil filter you have it mounted on?

As a side note i got my turbo manifold all fitted together yesterday. I just have to finish welding it today.

Yes that is an oil filter relocation kit that we came up with, I just need to have the bracket powdercoated but otherwise it is complete. I just have a -10 adapter with a 1/8" NPT for the oil feed. It is 100% made in the USA as well. Murica!

they don't want my ideas, it would have more coolers than a Veyron and it would never run.

It would have more fuel cooling than you could shake a stick at and would also be VERY low.

Hey 9k, have you tried out your regulator yet? Whats your target for max oil pressure to the turbo?

Im wondering if you are going to have draining problems with that return line and it blowing back into your catch can/intake.

With the by pass line? My drain line from the turbo is -10. I have not tested with oil, but have with air. I am just waiting on some minor things to arrive and some powdercoating and she will be back on the road. I am shooting for as max pressure of 65psi to the turbo.

I meant the return line from your check valve. Since it is bypassing the extra pressure.

Oh yeah, I am not sure if a -4 is big enough, I think it is but I will find out soon though.

Nah its the same size as your supply line i would not worry about that. The flow rate should not be that big with the controller.

I meant you are feeding it into the plastic manifold that you fill oil with. If your getting blow by it might lift that oil up and out into your filler neck then into the catch can or intake. Depending on how you have it plumbed.

Oh yeah, that may be an issue. We shall see, I now have a proper catch can with -8 lines and fittings, hopefully it will be adequate.

Just thought I would update this. The regulator is working perfect, I see a max of 60psi at the turbo at engine redline. I will update after I have some significant mileage on the setup.

Do you hear a little ring as it cracks open? Right around 45 psi i hear it ring just a little. It drove me crazy when i first started driving with it.

Every time i start accelerating it would ring and i spent a lot of time looking for the sound.

Weird, I have not but I have not had a chance to really drive her hard for a while, hopefully this weekend I can get some quality time with her.

It is right around 2 k that i hear it. Plus mine is mounted right behind the coils. It might be a little closer to me than yours.

Weird I don't hear it on mine. The regulator is working nicely though, no issues.

But I did find a coolant leak on one of the few spots that I don't have an AN fitting

I had to reroute the pressure regulator setup a bit due to the Mazdaspeed bar but it is still working great. I am going to come up with a simpler more compact setup for a cleaner install. But so far, so good, max of 60psi at the turbo feed line and about 5psi at idle depending on the temp. I still have the gauge on it for now since I am still sort of testing but after awhile I will get rid of it.

Man, you have some massive dust grains in your engine bay.

Ah, no, it was just an imperfection in the camera optic lens. Anyone mentioned that you need to go to a psychologist?

I havent seen one, and am impressed.

All the answers are right here. It's the install location that is a PITA. 9K when are you going to do a line loop mod?

The Borg Warner EFR turbos already have the oil pressure orifice built in on their housing, just making sure nobody tries to perform this mod on one ...

and I especially love AN fittings with push-on barb hose connections
