Has anyone installed a turbokit or a supercharger in the US automatic RX-8 or in the european low power version?
I've got a 192 Hp euro RX-8 and I would like to know if this conversion has been done before?
(As far as I know,the AT and the Euro LP is basicly the same engine)

 

I have the GReddy turbokit in my car. So I guess the RE-Amemiya turbokit will work just as good in a euro-AT as in any other AT.

 

Just talk to scott, he has done some I think.
I also have the 4port, but it's a manual 5 speed.
I will wait for a sc kit.

I have the same engine as you.
It's also a manual transmission.Sorry I didn't write it,but there is no Euro AT..

 

Amemiya do have a 4 port turbo for about £3k it produces aroun 280bhp according to the dyno, but i think it had a new exhust, filter and flywheel did post it all on the UK onwners before i was banned so it could still be on there if you take a look, it included the dyno and pictures!

sadly the dyno is no longer on Amemiya web site (well not that i can see and my Japanese isnt that good) but if you do decide to go that route keep us posted as i can get some very good shipping rates from that part of the world as i do a bit of importing here and there!

Rick from Rotary Performance here in CA has a turbo'd AT 8. I think the only difference was some tweaking of the emangle.

 

Do you know anything about hp/performance gain?

 

We currently have an AT 8 supercharged with our Pettit Racing supercharger kit.
Check our subforum for updates, the kit is nearing release!

 

He also had to add bigger primary injectors as he was running in the 90%+ range for duty cycle.
