it was just a thought since i was reading up on everything i could find on F/I and this seemed interesting.... ya know one turbo goes up till 4500rpm them the other turbo, both turbos active at the same time could produce something but im not sure. oh and one of the reasons it didnt work on the rx7 is because of the materials the turbines were being made of...

right but not mainly, the whole system is pretty fragile and the 70+ vacuum lines don't help either
At that time (1991\2) the turbo was still a young technology and way to overcome its brutality was the twin turbo.
Now we have twin scrolls, pressure regulators, a whole new level of electronic management etc that make the twin turbo obsolete.
I'm sure that there are a lot of other guys capable of going further along these lines since i am still a hardcore NA fan
