Well Wanted's setup caught the attention of a friend that lives close to him. He was leaving for work one morning, heard the turbo first then saw the car.

And the friend has a Sti Props to the build.

Well here is the skinny; the car is amazing, the build is amazing and Jeff has the tune nailed so solid under boost my O2 gauge might as well be painted on.
Now for the bad news; as some of you know I haven’t been home at all in the last two months, four days to be exact. What’s worse is I deploy, again, the 8th of August. I'll be home this week and the week before the 8th so getting on a dyno I'm afraid may not happen. What may happen is both Jeff and Ray have my permission to take the car should a dyno day turn up while I'm gone. To be honest as hot as it is around here this time of year we will get better numbers when the weather turns cooler anyway; no it's not fluffing the numbers, how often does it get to 116 where you live...
On a side note; I have put almost as many midpipes on my car than Ray. I have settled with the racing beat straight pipe and it is still a bit quiet for my liking; no I'm not kidding, with the turbo and extra pipe in there I would compare it to an aftermarket exhaust on a stock cat/car. Here is a video of car with the exhaust dumped; that's right, dumped.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Aizd-545-Q

So, final thoughts on the whole thing; would I do it over again? Absolutely. Would I have SFR install it again? You bet, I would ship the car across the country to let them work on it, the workmanship, customer service, and all around awesomeness can only be had with them. Things I wouldn't do again; bleed my own brakes, use washer fluid in my methanol kit, and budget for new rims and tires as I no longer have traction in first and second gear. :/

This kit tuned by MM via AP seriously looks ridiculous -- this is certainly my choice when the time to go turbo comes. Looking forward to updates / videos / dyno charts.

I have update pricing on our website for the Cobb and injectors which also will include MM's fee to work with each individual to dial in the Cobb for your particular car and set-up.And yes that $1299 was for the Powermod EMS with RC injectors.

Too bad that the AP will be discontinued soon
Will you go back to the powermod or will you explore some other direction?

Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updates but being in Afghanistan I don't really have access to a whole lot. From what I hear, there is going to be a dyno day in the Phoenix area in Feb, so I'm going to try to get a hold of Ray and see if he will take my car over there to put down some numbers. I can't begin to tell you how much I miss that thing...

During the mornings while it was still kinda cool out I would run 8-9 PSI and during the heat of the day would bring it down to 7-8 aka sitting on the spring. It sucks that I’m going to be gone during the prime time to have a turbo 8 in Phoenix, hopefully it will still be cool out when I get back.

Yep, we're having the AZ Mazda Club's annual dyno day that day! I'm sure we can work out a way to get your car over there and let 'er rip!

Just got back from a mission...

That would be sweet; I'll try to give Ray a call in the morning (tonight for you guys) and see if I can set something up. I've been dieing to know what numbers the car is actually putting down.

Here are the numbers you all have been waiting for!! This is directly from CRH who was kind enough to take my car to the dyno while I was away, thanks again Ray!

Jeff spent three hours getting a rock-solid tune on your car and you now have 325 rwhp (with 91 octane pump gas) that you can drive all day. I need to update your spark plug wires and give the entire car a good "once over" and you will be all set.

There will be a dyno sheet in your car, as well. Generally speaking, your boost ramps up to 12 psi (at 4,500 rpms), then trims down a bit to a max of 10-11. The torque follows the same curve, with about 265 being available whenever there is full boost (all the way to a little over 8,000 rpms). With this kind of torque, high-rpms are not necessary.

The engine peaked at 337 rwhp but Jeff decided to tune it back a little for safety/durability.

He's being modest, he has been a huge part of this project and the representation of all of his parts on the car is 'nuff said on that. Looking at the chart you were pretty close with 265 unless the chart above is the one before Jeff dialed it back. Ray, I really can't thank you enough for all you have done!
