What to do next?!
so with the rx8 i just bought i also bought the INGS body kit, JIC exhaust, vis racing cf hood, aem cai, work crkai matte blk rims, clear corners, strakes, spoiler, what should i do next to improve my performance cause right now all i've bought is basically exterior mods, i don't have enough for a turbo, but i was thinking the cobb accessport was a good idea, and probably some coilovers lol but i don't know what will give me the best hp increase for cheapest price...

Cobb Accessport is about $600 with all the tunes, and its a real good investmestment in terms of Horsepower and tuning. But when u do have money, get the Greddy UPgrade kit from MazdaManiac or was that MazParts??

The old adage from drag racing comes to mind when someone whines about getting horsepower for cheap: "Speed cost money. How fast is your wallet?"
You're done with the cheap stuff. You've gotten with the basics: intake, exhaust, trunk. Get it breathing better, get rid of the results faster, and get the junk out of the car.
Now comes the really hard part: planning. Yep. Planning, and sticking to the plan, that's the really rock-hard bitch. I know what I'd like to do to my own car, but it's not getting done without a plan. No easy answer, no "lol", now it gets serious, hard and expensive.
What are you going to do "fast"? Showoff runs on the street? 1/4 mile on the strip? 2 hour endurance on track? They don't use the same stuff, all of it costs a LOT to do right, and all of it costs a hell of a lot MORE to do cheap, because you'll always be fixing it.
Get a plan.

3hp for $200 pulleys is better than 3.5hp for $600-1000 exhaust,

I'm not saying SR Motorsports are lying but until some non-partial member dyno their car with and without the kit, I won't believe a word of their 'butt-dyno'.

sorry if i dont respond to ur next post (im leaving to go paintballing), but you say that about the K&N, i think they ran it cold, it is a RAM intake so i think the hot air in the engine makes it worse. I say this because Racing beats REVI is not much different but they got it right, (K&N filter), and they boxed it to protect from the engine heat, and then gave it a huge *** air duct to suck up cold air. I believe though i believe you, K&N must have ran it cold.

Hmmm all show and no go haha . If i were you id save up for a turbo , if you dont have afe short shifter get it , atleast it makes driving more fun. Not some appearance crap like a wing that doesnt do ****. Get access port and tune your car for what it has , exhaust , intake etc. Atleast it will free up some hp , then go turbo . But like that one dude said , make a plan , because if you dont you will never stop modding , trust me lol. And pulleys are a waste of money , its all underhood bling , unless you have a supercharger or something , it wont make a difference.
