Also coming from a paintball background, (obvious from my avatar haha) you will probably want to stock up on "burst disks" as the heat the bottle will probably have to endure will cause them to blow. They are a safety feature (hopefully they are installed on this bottle) that blows a vent hole when a specific psi is reached in the bottle so the bottle does not explode. Also, after venting the FMIC, you should give the bottle some time to warm up for another charge or it will not be as efficient on subsequant vents.

i stand corrected, partially. lol, at atmospheric pressures co2 goes from gas to solid and back again in a process called sublimation. at pressures above 5.1 atmospheres, it will go into a liquid state. see, we all learn something new everyday

Kind've interesting. We tested it once. Push the button for like 10-15 sec. from the inside of the car you see a white mist come out of your hood. Ran to the front & saw iceicles/ice on the IC. Definitely felt more powerful. Wanted to dyno it, but the local place's dyno was on the fritz. I'll go next time & let everyone know.

I believe you installed the bottle upside down. Check the install instructions. If it's like nitrous, the valve portion should be up. (see pic)
Also, it's not as effective if it gets into your air intake.
Can't wait to see what the dyno says.

I'll check the bottle & change it up if it is facing the wrong direction. it doesn't get into the air intake (that would stall the engine), it sprays directly onto the IC cooling fins.

the valve facing down would give you a better chance of gettin liquid in the intake stream.. you dont want that.. you want the CO2 to be gaseous.
Then again, with the hose as long as it is, it may not matter.

It won't necessarily stall your engine, just slow you down according to that other site's experiment.
If it's coming out through your hood, some is getting into your intake.
I believe once your moving the wind resistance will force the CO2 to the bottom of the car and hopefully you don't see it coming out the hood.

It says the bottle has a siphon tube (which is just like nitrous) and it should be installed like the pic above.
There's an underlined part that says "make sure the valve outlet is pointing down for the siphon tube to work properly." That's talking about the hose coming out of the valve and it needs to be pointing downward. You may have gotten mixed up on that part.

We just turned it on/sprayed before we made the runs. We didn't do any "sprays" during any runs. Got to get this thing up to palmdale or LA Speedway to see what i can do with it.

You may not want to activate the system to long before you actually start moving....Ice forming on the IC will reduce the effective area of cooling that the IC has because the ice will be stopping/restricit the flow of air across the IC.
Yes, the CO2 will probably kill the engine(if it gets into the intake)....a CO2 system that sprays into the intake is how LARGE marine diesel engines are shutdown in an emergency.
