Okay so this one was on the stretch from the light at Mountview & Nevada past Winters & Nevada
It is completely flat. AC was charged fully 1-2 minutes prior to video. ~85 degrees.
Completely stock. In Colorado Springs colorado ~6-6.5k feet
9-10.5 seconds
I timed it on a 35 degree day when I first got it at 7.5-8.5

No. Like I said I had a lot going to my disadvantage and the grade was a little of a disadvantage if anything.
To me though it says something about the car, it can still do a pretty decent run even when the elements aren't in its favor.
More info:
91 octane gas with non-synthetic 5w-20 going to make the switch to royal purp 10w-30 synthetic next oil change
18" wheels
DSC On
No traction control
AC was charged fully but not on.
No launch of any sort, started completely from a roll.

I think a 0-60 video thread would be interesting.
Sure it wouldn't be perfect, but I don't think it'd be "promoting" anything street racing oriented.
But I mean a video of the stretch of road, the location, the temperature, the year / vin of the car, and any mods would be really neat.
I think it'd really show the varying differences.
Maybe it's a bad idea...I dunno lol

Someone posted how to launch an auto in the other thread of the same title .
I was just concerned we'd get a whole lot of people posting their 10 second+ 0-60videos and end up the laughing stock of the automotive world .....

**** well Ill prove them wrong with a 2.2k rpm brake AUTO LAUNCH!!!1!1
Take that! haha
but ya bro no hostility here sorry for the reaction lol
But anyways I finally turned my Traction and DSC completely off, and tried the launch and wow...I bet it could take 2-3 secs off that no problem.

I think your vid proves there may be something is up with an 11.8 0-60.
p.s. - making the switch to RP 10w-30 will give a very slight push in the upper rpm's - i was using mobil-1 full-syn prior so if you're using conventional i can't really say what kind of differences you'll feel. Just giving you a review since you were interested in swapping fluids

ps. you have traction control?? lucky... wish my AT came with that...

Haha ya I don't think 11.8 should ever be considered the norm with this car.
Like I said, Imma try it with my next oil change, with a full tank of 91 with some octane booster.
I'll record the flat stretch in front of me, and do it when the temp is at least under 60.
Like I said, with the launch, and the tractions all off, I have no problem believing I could do it in 7-9 seconds consistently. I'm happy with that!

haha is traction a good thing with this car? =P
but ya for some reason I cant go past 2.2k when I do the brake launch, but I can totally feel the difference in my seat.
I dunno. I didn't buy the car to be fast at all. For one i would've gotten the MS6 I test drove instead, if that was what my decision was based around, lol. I just like the cars styling, its handling, braking, etc.
And honestly a thread about a 11.8 0-60 on a AT got me thinking. To me, my car didn't feel that slow, and I guess I was right.

He over revved first and that caused the pause you saw before shifting to second. Just slightly quicker on the shifter and it should not have done that.

this just doesn't seem right. i thought the 4ports were a bit quicker than this.
