Did anyone think about the DSG before?

Did anyone think about the DSG before?
Just wondering anyone think about changing the tran to DSG?
Will it fit?
first is VW's Goft GTI, the DSG at tran is faster than the MT tran
0-60 is about 0.5 sec faster
second is 2008 Audi TT, they put the same DSG tran from the GTI and fit well
0-60 the DSG AT tran also faster than the MT Tran...
What about the RX-8, anyone think about putting the DSG tran into an AT RX-8?
Should be faster than the MT's??
Then nobody will say MT is always faster, the DSG shift every gear in 0.2 sec : )
Just some IDEAs....but dont know will it be happen...

Why would you expect a VM trans to fit in a Mazda?? The reason the VW DSG fits well in the Audi is Audi & VW are part of the same overall company. The AT engine also makes LESS power than the MT so were a DSG trans exist for the RX-8 it would still be slower than a 6-speed. Unless Mazda puts a DSG into one of their better selling cars you will most likely never see one in an 8.
