^ 1. go to Racing Beat website
2. Buy 2 Racing Beat Universal Presilencers
3. get a shop to Weld it on your midpipe of choice

who knows, if the midpipe already comes with a resonator........you will have a tripplez resonatorr!! @.@

I alsways wondered if it did. Since the Auto tranny has a wider body than the manual, i'm not surprised.

It's and auto, so it isn't really a sports car.
Ha.

whut?

The RX-8 Automatic uses the same crap they throw into econoboxes. It isn't anything like the GR6 dual clutch transmission.

What you should have said was:

"Isn't the Saturn SL1 technically an auto? Guess that's not really a sports car either"

or we can just end this discussion right now...

"A sports car is a term used to describe a class of automobile. The exact definition varies, [1] but generally it is used to refer to a low to ground, light weight vehicle with a powerful engine. Most vehicles referred to as sports cars are rear-wheel drive, have two seats, two doors, and are designed for more precise handling, acceleration, and aesthetics. A sports car's dominant considerations can be superior road handling, braking, maneuverability, low weight, and high power, rather than passenger space, comfort, and fuel economy."(wiki)

Oh, I agree. Transmission doesn't mean squat.

I was just pointing out that the comparison to the GT-R was not a good one

According to that definition, an MG or Triumph were never sports cars. These British cars never had a "powerful engine" Actually the classic definition of a sports car is a 2 seater roadster. If it had a roof, it would be a touring car. Larger sporty cars, with bigger engines, are grand touring cars.

On the 4AT you might get some heat shield rattling and gear shifter vibration - if I remember right the heat shield on the supercat pushed up against a stock heat shield, which in turn pushed up against the shifter lever. You have to do some bending to the heat shields to get it to stop rattling. PM mac11 for details on exactly what he did - he fixed mine.

so thats why mine is rattleing a little bit.. should i take mine off and bend it or take a crow bar and bend it with the supercat on?

I believe he bent it off the car. In my case you could kind of see the dimple that the bolt on the shifter lever was making in the heat shield.

Yes there is! We finished it and it is being shipped to the customer today. The fitment is excellent, all the bends are mandrel and we are using the same resonators as the 6-speed to ensure the same sound quality. We also incorporated two O2 bungs for your convenience to simplify the installation of a aftermarket WBO2 down the road.

Thanks, we appreciate the opportunity for your business, Scott
