Greddy turbo questions for AT

Greddy turbo questions for AT
Hey guys considering the Greddy Turbo, being doing some research however i still got a few question to consider in regards to the AT specific side of things
Now i heard that the Greddy *needs* the upgrade, main issue being that it runs out of breath at high rpms, wastegate issues.
Now im thinking... since our revs are limited to 7.5, and when on full auto it shifts at 7. Would the Greddy loss of breath issues be really a problem with us?
I understand i'll need a BOV, some better clamps, prob a wastegate, and BC.
But im wondering if i really need the turbo upgrade.
Basically since im located in aus, if i do choose to upgrade the turbo, i would get it before i get it shipped over.
Also i got a microtec Lt10 ecu, obviously i should replace that over the ecu from greddy, but is there going to be many troubles with it?
Just need some advice, thx

IMO the stock greddy suits the AT pretty well up to about 9 psi . You will still need a better turbo if you want to chase higher numbers though ....
Your LT10 will do the job but Hymee or AP are best choices for engine management - hands down

so you are saying if im just interested in a slight icnrease, prob run 6-8 psi. the stock is good enuff? and no need for bov/bc/clamps etc?
i wanna be safe. Dont want the turbo to fail and engine to fail.

my AT revs to 9K RPM thanks to MM.
you should still get the BOV and upgraded couplers. the greddy couplers are complete crap. for the BOV, you will also need to buy a weld on flange since the is no place to mount a BOV on the stock greddy kit.

however - if you are scared about your engine failing - don't do it . I really think you need to be very hands on to get a good result with any kit and be financially prepared to blow a motor as well .....

ok i found a thread by 09Factor with one of his early dyno runs. i'm sure he has better numbers now.

plus now with the BNR greddy upgrade available, there is a lot more potential.

well better safe then sorry.
Look chances are yes, additional power prob be wanted in the future
But hey atleast i start "safe". then eventually move to.... "dangerous" that ways i can be monatry prepared for the "risks" involved.

If someone knows of an AT dyno over 200 could they provide a link please .
with a 6 port MT 250-260 is easily attainable - past 270 and it gets a bit dicey.

The last dyno run in febuary was 202hp and 220 tq. Had some wierd issue of AFR's in the 12.5-13.1 in boost. Thinking stuck/bad injector.
The Greddy mated to a 4port probally will see max 230 - 240 9 psi
The 202 run was 7.5 psi. Let compare that to last years run of 185 hp at 5psi..
So about 10hp for every psi increase.
Now upgrade the Greddy or replace it with a 3071, or something more efficient. Yea 250 hp shouldn't be too diffacult.
The Greddy flows what 28 lbs of air or was it 32?
