Trying to get as much of a response as possible but does anyone know if the new filter will fit the old intake housing?

Does anyone have dyno results yet?
If not, and this is a looks and sound thing... can you get it in any finish besides black? I have an add from K&N that shows it in chrome, but all of the sites that I see it for sale have it listed as flat black.
Oh by the way this is only my second post, first forum. I signed on a couple of months ago but busy schedule. Point being... I must start out the right way...I just can't resist...Mugato, I hope that you have a nice day. Smile, breathe deep and relax.
