Next mod for AT need some help...

As a couple of you may know last nov i bought an '04 TI Gray AT. My first mod was a KN V2 intake and recently purchased from MR.CRH i bought a HKS hi-power exhaust..now i stumped because i dont know what my next mod should be..I was thinking of buying rims but then i thought for now Im 20 and i know that rims can be a bit expensive and i have 2 help with bills in the house ..and i dont live in the nicest of neighbor hoods in miami..lol. So yeah anyone want to help out on what my next mod could be. I was thinking of maybe Tein S-techs...

Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

Thanx

Dominicano.

^ +1.... Racing Beat has a suspension kit that includes suspension springs and sway bars.

My budget for now i really didnt want to spend more than $500...i have a trip planned for vegas at the end of the year and i also recently applied for another job..it pays way more than where i work now so i know hopefully as the year goes on ill be able to do more work to it..Suspension was what i was thinking of doing next because i really couldnt think of anything power wise to do next.

Lowering the car would be a good mod. They look so much better.

5 bills?

for suspension you could always go with the racing beat package from good-win-racing - i know they have a racing beat package including 4 springs and both sways for 516 or just the springs for 229.

as for power - you could always get a hi-flow cat or run catless. you can find both under 5 bills too.

On suspension i was thinking of starting with the S techs and then purchase a front sway from another company..will the racing beat be better than tein? I mean im not looking to take it out to the track this car is my daily driver lol.

S-tech's are definately a good buy but IMO - i'd sooner go with Racing beat only because i currently have a .08 drop and i'm rolling on 16's n' i scrape i can't imagine getting any lower than i already am...and if your 8's your daily driver, you may experience something similar. All up to you tho, i know the drop looks really nice on 18's n' 19's and either way you go, you're going to eliminate some body roll (which is always good).

if you get a chance, check out the spring rate on both. I've been in an 8 with racing beat springs, and they seem pretty stiff. I'm not too sure about the s-tech's tho.

I currently have the factory 18"s on the car and i've seen pictures of other members and it looks really nice with the s tech drop. I guess im just gonna do it and go with it. I know i have to be careful because these streets in miami are no joke..lol. way 2 many pot holes.

Tein S techs are nice. I've got mine paired up with Koni Yellow's and RB sways. I love the look on the drop but i do have to be careful on speedbumps (some i bottom out on regardless of how slow I go, and that's without a body kit).

You may change your mind on going to the track. I didn't think I was going to either, but I decided to give it a try. And I'm hooked

Sways are a great handling mod. I haven't taken my RB sways to the track yet, but I can definitely tell a difference on the street. And on the track the 8 has a lot of body roll, so they are definitely worth it for that.

I got the rx8 brake upgrade kit from rx7store.net and I was very impressed with the results and reasonably priced. Here's a link to some pics of my ride after the install https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/brake-upgrade-done-105423/ and here's a link to the kit http://www.rx7store.net/RX_8_Brake_R...%20upgrade.htm
