Question 1 ::
how much psi can you put into a stock rotary engine? maybe in the years from '05-present... i was thinking of adding a turbo, but i just dont know how much a rotary can take.

maybe telling me the maximum psi and what is good enough for an rx8.

Question 2 ::
i was thinking if i dont get a turbo i want somethings that will gain performance and is also reliable. im thinking of an intake and manifold for sure, but i dont know of an exhaust. but what i was really wondering is, what brand / kind / type would be both good and reliable?

Qustion 3 ::
is the Interceptor-X EMS really that good? is it worth the $1500 for 10-20 hp?

im still kind of new to all this, i researched A LOT on rx8 performance, but i dont really know what is good for an automatic '05-present rx8.

Q1. 6 psi with Greedy turbo. Some say 8 and of course T4 turbo can handle more.

Q2. INtake, exhaust, pulley, test pipe and high flow cat will get you max 10 WHP

Q3. Inter X for 4 speed automatic will gain 15 WHP -20 and dyno at 150WHP. I just don't understand some automatic dyno @ 135WHP stock. Thats insane.

MT stock dyno 170WHP - 190 WHP
Automatic stock dyno 135WHP - 155WHP

Different 8 has different dyno..I don't know why. That made it that way.

 

Search is your friend. The mods that work for the M/T work for the A/T. Except the flywheel,clutch and short-shifter mods.
