Throttle Bypass AT ?.

Have any of you AT guys done the throttle bypass mod on the car?

Where you able 2 tell a difference b4 and after?

And might anyone have a vid on how 2 do it.. i keep looking at the pics but always seem 2 get lost on the last set of directions.

Im thinking of trying this because i live in miami..and the summer is around the corner and man i know its gonna get real hot down here , also because i have a KN V2.

So if anyone can help it would be cool.

Thanx
Dominicano

1. It's easy.
2. SEARCH !! ( i kid i kid)
3 . It's easy!!

What part do you get lost on?
All you really have to do is take off (4 10mm bolts) the TB from the UIM. Remove the 2 (two) hoses. one at top and one at the bottom of the TB. put one hose clamp on either hose. connect the 2 (two) hoses together with a 5/16 barb and tighten the ends down with the hose clamps. start car and check for leaks.

I don't think I gained any preformance. but the intake charge stays ambiant in the winter.

That is the link right there...i dont mean 2 sound like an idiot but i get lost in the last 2 pics..i mean i get that im suppose to take off the top hose and the bottom hose and then close off where the hoses would go..but then all i do is just connect them together??

Finally did the bypass ended up using a 3/8th for the bypass. For some reason it felt better to drive the car and i cant wait for a hot day..im gonna drive it around town for a bit and see if i get any MIAC when i accelerate.

After driving around since sunday i noticed that this little mod does help out a lot..the car does not have the annoying MIAC noise..all i have to do is get the MSP reflash and then ill get back to the serious modding. Rotors and pads are next the a couple of visual things.
