I know 09Factor has the greddy on his AT, and Phil has the Pettit on his AT. Haven't heard them say anything about this type of problem. What gear were you in? Did you have the DSC turned off? If the DSC was off, maybe you broke the tires loose?

Car was running lean before tunning. Had upgraded the injectors. Try to upgrade the fuel pump, but did not have the correct tool to remove those plastic rings. Anyone can help on that?
There are so many varriables to what your saying - would have to have more information to even know where to start looking for a cause.

1 question for now;
How fast were you going and what gear? Ok thats 2 questions...
Question #3. did it upshift?
question #4 . was the tranny warmed up?

I have punched it in forth going 85 and it upshifted, but didn't slip to 7k.
85 mph = 3.5 k

just one side note what are your AFR's in boost and non-boost?

another thing to add.
I drove the 8 cold and tried to see if it would slip when the tranny was cold..
I didn't experience what you noted fds777..

How many miles on the tranny fluid and is it the OEM crap?

I was doing about 60 MPH. on 3rd gear. DSC on. 60 is hard to have tire break loose.

I am currently running without an aftercooler so I need be careful on the boost but being interested in your experience I decided that a couple of short boost runs would be OK.

With the tranny fluid at 182 degrees F. on the third try I did develop some slip when I was doing 60 and punched it while in the manual paddle mode. I went out last evening and tried the same in auto mode with the tranny fluid at 182 degrees F. and experienced no slippage or surging.

The only differences are that I am using RP fluid, the X and a s/c - 09Factor is turbo equipped and if he does not have this problem then something else is wrong.

Thanks. I have tranny cooler on my now. But no gague for the tranny oil temp. Quick question. When the tranny slips, does it give signal to ECU telling it not to pump more fuel? So it won't damage the tranny futher? I'm just guessing. This tranny only have about 12000 miles on it.

I did it in second and third and the slip happened when in third. It was not that bad but it did do it. Since the poster did not say which gear he was in I figured I'd try both.

I do feel that the 4 a/t is stronger than most will give it credit for but as I have said before it will need some help as the hp grows. Ray and I are working on it but way behind schedule.

We do know that the a/t has interface with the ECU but in my case it did not effect the fuel. We do know that the a/ts will not shift at rpms above 8300 - it does not shut off the gas just will not shift. There is a way to fool it (only to 8700 rpm) but you can be sure that it's hard on it to do so. The a/ts are not something that the "big guns" want to get involved in so it will be up to the owners to figure them out and make them "stronger". If we ever get any upgrades that we care to talk about I'll post it here.

I hate to say this but presently my boost gauge is not performing properly. You have a turbo so I would imagine that boost will be quite different than my s/c. When the gauge was working properly I had a top boost level of 8 psi but there have been several things done to it since then and until I get the gauge fixed who knows.

My engine light is always on... I think my car is running to rich now. Keep on back firing after giving hard gas. I guess need to bring back to dyno shop re tune. Car now sometime shuts off at idle. =( feel my FD is so much better... not as much problems.

Your cops are only beginners, come to Vegas - the strip looks like a police state. Hell they even have a portable jail with them. Of course you have to be really rowdy to get busted.
