Your opinion (midpipes)
So my heat shield on my Cat fell of -.-
And I to my cabin in the woods, and my car is parked on grass... (Im guessing you can figure out the rest)
My question would be:
Im currently looking at the Black Halo Racing Resonated Midpipe without a CAT
has anyone bought this pipe, and will it pop a CEL.
If a Cel is popped how did you guys go around such prob.
Thanks!

If you buy any catless midpipe, it will cause a CEL. Maybe not at first (some ECUs seem to have a harder time recognizing it), but you HAVE to go into the purchase expecting one. You can change what the CEL is if you want by playing tricks with it, but there will be a CEL eventually one way or another.
The only options there are to ignore it (which might be dangerous if there are other codes that appear and you don't know that there is a change), or to block it from appearing with a reflash tool like a Cobb AccessPORT or MazdaEdit. This is where you make a change to the digital settings of the ECU to tell it to not throw a code for missing a cat. It's a common solution.
