I am going to be replacing my old motor mounts with the new ones per the the TSB that was put out. I called mazda after not being able to find the insulated bracket called out and they said that part has been discontinued without a replacement.

Could the reason for this be that the new rubber is not effected by the heat like the old ones were? I would just hate to put new mounts on for the cost of about $250 just to have the one be damaged by heat again.

If you know the reason this part does not exist or if there is a newer bracket part number with the insulator please help me out.

it is just a standard part now, the current part number in their system for your vehicle is the correct engine mount

or you could do this instead with your old mounts, figure a weekend to complete it if you have the ability
