100% Premix - No OMP?
Can you totally run the RX8 on premix and disconnect the OPM? Seems like from what I am reading, you have to treat the rotary as somewhat of a 2 stroke, when oiling the apex seals. With the issues of engines failing, potentially from weaknesss in the apex seals being oiled from the sump oil thru the OPM and oil injectors, has anyone converted over to 100? premix?

Two ways to do it .
1/Zero the tables in the ECU - need cobb and ATR to do this
2/Detach the omp from the block with all electrical connections in place and tie up out of the way . Fit cover in place of OMP.
I have gone 1/2 way to doing this by halving the omp rate .

My 07 already meters a too small amount, 1/2 quart in 2000 miles, so I add 1/4 quart every fillup (250 miles) which adds 2 quarts to that 2000 miles.
IMO that the omp motor oil's impact is minimized with that 4:1 ratio of PIB 2 cycle to the 0w40 mo.
