Just got off the phone with MNAO, the customer service associate was nice enough to offer to send me a copy of the brochure from my model year that they managed to still have, The RX-7 club is pretty good about having these on the forums for reference sake, so I thought I'd post this one here in case anyone has a 2006 and has general questions about what theirs may have came with.
Those brochures are beautifully done. I went to the dealer every year and grabbed one when the 8 was being sold. Glad you were able to get one!
I don't technically have a hard copy, sorry if I was unclear. The MNAO rep was nice enough to send me one via email, however. I've never had a single issue with MNAO. Top notch customer service. Makes me almost want to buy a 2019 3 hatch...if only corksport had that turbo kit out for the 2.5L Skyactiv-G lol.
Honestly in my case, the car is about to hit 160k on the original motor.
What gets me is the part about "sharing the rush." In three years of that car being a part of my life, I can say I've had people in the back once that comes to mind. I love the RX-8...but those.seats are not the most spacious. Lol
I have a PDF of the 09 brochure for S2. Good stuff, looks cool.
For the back seat complainers: you guys must have never ever sit in a Mustang or BRZ/86/FR-S before. Do that, and then see how the 8 compares. I have heard that the Challenger back seats are spacious, but that's also a behemoth of a car. You can't compare RWD and FWD back seat space.
And honestly, the suicide doors make the back seats that much more accessible. My old Accord Coupe V6 had a lot more back seat space(due to being an FWD car), but getting to them is always work. I personally also despise Sedans because they look boring, and I don't use my back seats that often.

I'm moreso doing it in a joking way. Though, I wouldn't willingly ask people to sit back there or encourage it lol. I have sat in the back of my mom's 09 mustang, wasn't the best by any means. I can't say for the FRS/BRZ/86, but I believe it. The challenger, well, I can imagine those being spacious, but the car is also a boat like you mentioned.
My kids barely fit back there, lol. My 10 and 12 year old find the back seat a little snug if an adult is in the front. I usually don't let the kids sit behind me unless I get forced to take three of my kids and in that case I'll drive my 06 BMW 330xi and enjoy my leg room. my 8, 6, and 3 year old s are no problem in the back seat however. But I think Mazda was advertising for adults to st back there. Scary.
I had two adult women sitting in the back of mine on the Fourth. Not large women; both around 5’3” - 5’4”, approx. 125 lbs. But I asked, and both said they were quite comfy. Trip lasted about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Sounds like you have a fun 4th! Don't threaten me with a good time!
