3 Simple to Answer questions and 1 tough one:

I'll keep it brief:

1) How easy is it to bend the stock rims while driving at speed (70-80mph on your basic interstate)?

2) My right speaker is blown out, is that covered under warranty?

3) A while back my car was involved in an accident. The Body Shop did an amazing job with it, drives identical to the way it did before and looks even better. However, for some reason they managed to **** up my steering wheel, and its now not center when the car is driving straight (Imagine it being just like 3 degrees off). They refuse to admit they did something to it, and maybe they didn't, question is: How expensive/easy would it be to get a dealer/other body shop to fix the wheel so its correct?

And now the tough one:

4) My car will sometimes keep running, even after I turn it off. I'm not pulling the key out too soon, its the damnedest thing. Its only started happening with the arrival of summer and it only happens after I've been driving around for more then 45 minutes or so, with the A/C on. I'll pull in to park, turn it off, get out and the engine will still be running (I hear it). I get back in, put the key in, set it to the "On" position, then all the way back down and pull it out and the noise stops. Any ideas as to what they can be?

Cheers.

1. easy if the pot hole is big
2. yes, if its bumper to bumper
3.take to dealer, try to get it under warenty, say it just happend for no reason, and see what they say, if not probly 200-300 depending whats up
4. when the engine is hot in the summer, the cooling fans stay on after engine shut off to cool the engine down. it is a very nice thing. nothing to worry about!
they go off on there own once the engine is at a nice cooler temp.

Well you just made my night much better. I thought my engine was getting ready to die on me.

Wait, edit:

Are the rims there in covered by warranty if they're bent?

1. bent rims aren't covered by warranty. it's a tear item. your city might pay for it if a pothole did it though.

3. it might be your alignment then. not many bodyshops do alignments.

It isn't my alignment, because I just had that done (along with 700 dollars worth of other crap too... this car is expensive for a college student to own :/) and the guy pointed it out to me, however it wasn't as bad as it is now (only 3 weeks later) after the alignment was done, so it could be somewhat related to it.

your best bet is to take it to mazda, and just make a big fuss about the steeringwheel, and dont sayanything about the bodyshop and all, just say it slowly went off center, and you have no idea how. they may cover it under warrenty, and if they check it out, and say its not covered, they will tell you what is wrong with it and how much to fix. then you can just go to your own shop and tell them what mazda said, a regular auto shop will be cheaper.

but try to get it done under warrenty, make a big fuss, they will probly fix it

what $700 crap did you pay for? Most steelerships will try and make you pay for tones of useless stuff when you take it in for service.

You should only do what your manual tells you to do. This car should be no more expensive to maintain then any other.

Also, I could have sworn there is a TSB on improperly aligned steering wheels. I'm way to tired to find it now. But fear not it can be fixed.

check this thread for stuff I think:

Yes the steering wheel being off center is part of an alignment. It's easy to correct to, or if you would prefer you can have it perfectly aligned and have the steering wheel upside down.

Oh, new tires and new breaks actually. And I bought like a 125 dollar plan for life-time alignments. It was actually like 645 something or other.

Bent wheels are not covered. I will not even bother to ask, cuz I know its my fault(the city's fault actually, damn garbage NYC roads)

Something is wrong with your alignment, are you sure they did it right ?

Thats rubbish that the shitty roads are at fault for the rims. Anyone have any idea of how expensive a replacement rim will run?

Bent rim

Eventually, the city will have to pay for the rim. Unfortunately, you will probably have to wait a few years to have your case heard.
