4 point harness
i saw the fast and furious tokyo drift rx-8 and i noticed that they still had the stock seats in with the 4 point harness. what they did was stick the two top straps through the rotory emblem in the seat. i was wondering if this was actually safe and a good way to do it, or if it was just for looks for the movie?

IMHO.
It is Not Safe to have 4 point seatbelts unless you have a roll cage. You lose the ability to move (or be moved) out of the way in case of a rollover.
Also, with a cage, or (at worst) a harness bar, the upper shoulder belt attachment is at shoulder level and the belt length is quite short to reduce stretching; and more importantly, not to put a load on the seat back.
Finally, I think 4 point belts on a street car are Ricey. I seez them on Hondaz all the timez.

yeah i know you need to have a roll cage just to even mount a 4 point harness. i was just wondering if they were doing it right. i seems like the best would rub on your neck because of the way it was mounted.
