6spd not for short people...

i sat in the rx-8 at rev it up and because im short i have to have the seat up all the way to push the clutch to the floor. it was very uncomfortable...does anyone have a suggestion for me? do they make some kind of pedal extension? please help. i already ordered the 6sp.im not going to cancel and reorder an auto...i would appreciate any feedback...thanks.

Umm... how about keeping a pair of platform heeled driving shoes in the car?

I was going to say the same thing.. I guess under 5 feet?

I'm 5'7" and never had any problems with cars though I'm on the short side..

I doubt that Mazda does, but apparently lots of places do. A quick Google search for "pedal extensions" brings up a bunch of hits. Try http://pedalextender.com/ for example.

Google is your friend. :D

It must not have been adjusted right, my wife is 4'10" and she had no problem with the pedals at rev-it up.

thank you eccles.you have taken a big weight off my shoulders. i feel taller already. i just hope they will have an extension for the 8 by the time mine comes in....
