Added too much engine oil

I added engine oil in to my 07 RX8. I accidentally a little too much in to it. The dipstick shows that the oil level is about 0.1 inch higher than the full mark. It is gonna hurt the engine if I drive it like this? Do I need to drain some oil out?

You're fine. My dealer routinely overfills by a half a quart or so - up to the top of the flat part of the dipstick - and I haven't had any problems.

If it's only slightly above the line, you're fine, you'll burn it away pretty quickly anyways. I've done so by accident before. Clean oil can be hard to read

If it's ever way above the fill line, drain a little bit... if it gets to an excessive amount, you end up with aerated froth which doesn't lubricate anymore.
