adding a switch

I want to add a switch for some lights in my car. But this seems like a stupid question but I can't get my hand or a tool that I know of up the the DSC switch panel.

what is the best way to get one of those little inserts off?

remove the lower panel under the steering wheel...put you hand up there and pop the block off plug out....there is a tab or something you have to push....feel around

kinda a stupid design. Have to take off a whole chunk just to get to a piece the size of a quarter.

Oh well. Thanks.

It's not that big a deal. It'll test your flexibility but you should have it done in no time.

if you just pop off the bottom section by your knees you'll easily be able to reach up and under to get to the back of where the dummy covers are. There's tabs at the top and bottom.. pinch and push then they're out.

Thanks guys, but I removed the panel and it didn't make any difference. I ended up forcing my hand up there and getting it out.

But my switch and everything is amazing, so thanks for the help!
