advice needed on siezed front 02 sensor

In preperation for DGRR 2013 i decided to take the OBX header off my 8 and reinstall the stock exhaust manifold to quite the car down especially since wifey is taking the trip down with me, and FI is in the plans for the near future. Front O2 sensor is siezed in the header and after screwing around with it for an hour I cut the damn wires. should I just buy a new sensor or is there a way to splice in a universal O2 sensor with out any problems.

When my factory O2 was seized, I just brought it to a corner shop to d the replacement. Cost me
$20 of labor for them to put it on a lift and break it free.

^+1 A good shop will probably heat the manifold with a torch and cool the sensor. It will come right out. You could do it yourself, but it's really not worth the pain doing it in the driveway, and you are much more likely to light your carpet on fire.

thanks all, i got it out today and spliced it back to the oem wiring. I took a socket and banged it onto the 02 sendor since i rounded the edges a little trying to get it off. then used my 1/2 breaker bar to get a decent amount of toque on it and she came right out.

Regular anti-seize won't work

Two things

Stainless steel galls easily, overtightening he threads is s guaranteed issue

Standard antiseize can't handle rotary exhaust temperatures, you need to use a high temp/ nickel based product
