air con pollen dust filter location
Just got my yellow At form Japan. The air conditioner dust filter appears to be choked. The fan blows air so slow that it is unbelieveable. Fan makes a lot of noise thougfh on recirculate. I wonder whether the air con/pollen/dust filter is choked. Where is it located? No owners manual with car...
The temp outside is 42 celsius in the shade now....

you should search other postings for pictures if you need illustrations, but here's a quickie:
1) Open the glove box
2) Squeeze the sides of the box inward slightly to clear the small pegs restraining the glove box.
3)The glove box will drop down but is still held by a plastic rod, or arm. Just pop that thing to the right at its base where it's attached to the box. the glove box will then come off completely.
4) Look straight back and you will see a door-like cover, similar to a CD-ROM drive mounted into a computer case. Pull it straight toward you and there will be 2 cabin air filters in there. Replace those with new ones... preferably with Aldehyde version (more expensive but 100x better filtration).
5) Reverse order to put everything back.
Good luck!
