Air Duct and Brakes Need Help

So... I installed a RB air duct into my car not too long ago. I've been running the car with K&N V.2 Intake, B&B midpipe and HKS Legamax exhaust before the air duct was installed and none of those changed after the installation. Only problem now is, whenever I shift the gear to neutral... if my car mph is above 38 or 39, the tach will jump a few times between 500-1500 then shuts off the engine while the car is rolling... so I've been driving my car without shifting to neutral for a bit now. I put a nipple on the vacuum line... I thought that was the problem but apparently that was not the case. Any help? I'm thinking I might be pushing too much air into the engine at higher speed and not enough gas or something since I haven't done anything to the ecu... hmmm

Also, my brakes are rusting and feels weird when I brake a little harder than usual. I would like to know if anyone are running any 'lightweight, 2piece brake rotors' they would recommend. Thank you.

Do you mean you put a cap on the nipple behind the throttle body?
If not, then you should.
