Air intake off - any opportunistic maintenance?
Hi
I'm changing the coils and wires on my '08 for the first time (77k miles, about time, don't you think? ). I know I didn't really have to, but I took the air filter box off and removed the accordion that connects the air filter box to the throttle body. Now, the engine bay looks a lot more spacious, so that got me thinking - is there any preventative maintenance/checks I can do while I have the room to play with?
I looked at the DIY ultimate tune up thread, and all I saw that I could do are cleaning the MAF sensor and the throttle body (and I read that I should remove the throttle body to clean it to protect the upper intake manifold - is that true?)
Is there anything else I can do while I'm in there?
thanks
